I want to take this opportunity to thank all of the wonderful people who attended the Delaware Art Festival this weekend. I had a blast. For months during the Winter I sit alone in my studio, dreaming up my creations for the coming Spring and Summer shows, this is a wonderful time for me as an artist, alone with nothing but my muse. However, I thrive on the interactions I have with my customers during the art show season. I love seeing what I’ve made find a good home and years of wear. The squeals of little girls as they come upon the Fairie Bottle display, and the delight of parents when they return alone to purchase the coveted Fairie Bottle. And this year, the robots were a big hit with boys, girls and adults.
What a great weekend with fantastic weather, a well organized show and wonderful patrons.
This is what life is all about.
