About Me

I am first and foremost an artist. Everything I do, say and believe is filtered through my artist heart. Sometimes this can be troublesome because I’m full of emotions and thoughts that come by way of pictures, so expressing myself can be a bit difficult. Fortunately for me some of the most important people in my life are also artists and we communicate very well.

I am easily convinced, unless my convictions are strong, then there’s really no convincing involved simply putting up with my opinions, of which there are many. I believe in being kind, find people who are mean and unkind difficult to believe in. My naivete is apparent, I wish to believe that everyone’s intentions are good, unless they prove otherwise, then I will probably scorn them forever. Forgiveness comes easy unless it’s hard and involves my own heart.

I am disabled from a hiking accident 22 yrs ago, my disability defines me and completes me. I challenge anyone who says otherwise. How can you not be defined by you physical abilities and limitations? My environment is unkind, I know it has nothing to do with me, but constantly take it personally.

I’m a politics junkie, since the 2000 election was stolen, I’ve been unable to take my eye off the political ball, so to speak. I could go on and on about this but there are tons of political blogs out there that do a much better job than I. My main source of information is Air America Radio and Huffington Post, from there I find other links that I like as well.
I am a mother to two cats and a German Shepherd assistant dog. Hair is everywhere. The love of my life is an artist as well and she is an angel, truly. Meet her and you will agree
